Lowe’s Home Centers are recalling Perfect Flame brand grills, because the cooking chamber on the grill can melt and/or catch fire posing a burn hazard and fire risk to consumers.

To date, the company has received 175 reports of the grills catching fire and 25 reports of the grills melting. No injuries have been reported, but some have resulted in minor property damage.

The recall involves the Perfect Flame brand grill, Model GAC3615 4-burner LP gas grills. “Perfect Flame” is printed on the large lid. The date code, model number and serial numbers of the grills are printed on the label on the right side of the cart. View a list of all recalled grills and models.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled grills immediately and to disconnect the propane tanks before returning the grill to any Lowe’s store location for a refund.

For more information consumers can contact Lucas Innovation toll-free at (877) 385-8226 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, or visit www.gac3615grillrecall.com
